Make More Profit with These Simple Steps

Clean laundry is always synonymous with great scents, no matter what type of detergent that you use to do your laundry, it’s no big secret that you’re more likely to use one that smells the way you like. But then comes the question, what type of fragrance should you use? With the myriad of detergents and fragrances on the market, which one would bring you more profits?

Choose a neutral scent

Fragrances are highly subjective, what smells great to you might be off-putting to someone else. This is why it’s important to choose a scent that not only does smell great but also one that is neutral in the way it smells. This means no fancy spicy smells, and definitely nothing musky. Try to go with more floral scents as it’s considered to be more neutral and is much more synonymous with clean laundry than its earthy and musky brethren will ever be.

Work with natural scents

Natural scents will always increase your profit margins if you use it in your marketing campaigns. Not only will it justify the prices that you’re charging, but your customers will ultimately feel better about your services thanks to how much better natural fragrances are to the fabric when compared to more synthetic applications of the fragrance. Natural fragrances are also not as strong as it synthetic counterpart but will give more depth in the way the end-result smells, which will, in turn, give your laundry just a subtle hint of fragrance, which is great since it won’t overpower the fragrance that you’ll use on your person.

Make your own fragrance

You can also work with unscented fragrances and then add your own blend of fragrance into it which will not only add a sense of novelty to your services but will also ensure a loyal following of customers who enjoy your fragrance and detergent blend on their laundry which will pretty much guarantee you a steady stream of customers in the long run. Doing this will also give you more control over the finer details in your service, something that buying off-the-shelf will never give you.

Use your novelty as a leverage

Let’s say that you’ve decided to go with creating your own blend of natural fragrances in your service. This is a great point of leverage that none of your other competitors will be able to use. Not only can you charge higher than you would if you were to follow the standard model of buying off-the-shelf detergents that already have a predetermined amount of fragrances mixed into them, but you can also save some cost as you would be buying the ingredients in bulk which will ultimately drive prices down, effectively increasing your profit margins in the long run.

Making more profits from your laundry services isn’t the easiest thing in the world since there’s quite a lot that goes into play when talking about services with a subjective element like fragrances do, but if you pay attention and take the steps mentioned above, making more profits shouldn’t be a problem.
